This was just a great tour! It was a lot of fun, our guide was so informative about the foods of Crete and at every place we went to, the food was delicious and plentiful! Would highly recommend and don't hesitate to book this food tour!

Goldie gave us so much more than just a food tour. She was a wonderful historian who shared the entire history of Crete with us and explained the different eras of buildings we saw. In addition, she introduced us to delicious uniquely Cretan foods. Come HUNGRY!

The local guide was knowledgeable. Nice balance between food and local history on the tour. Main meal of ocal favorites was at a local "tavern" were our group of 5 were the only tourists. Be ready to walk and see rhe back streets of Old Chania.

Aliki was an excellent guide. She shared how life ve of the culture and history of her country with enthusiasm! She took us to several restaurants and one market. We started with bougatsa, a cheese and phyllo dough creation which was delicious. After we ate it, she took us around the corner to a storefront where we watched locals make it! We also tasted kalitsounia, sampled olives and cheeses at the local market and finished in the town square with a selection of 5 different dishes which were all excellent! Aliki was also patient and understanding with one member of our party who had a recent knee replacement and was a bit slower than Aliki was used to walking! Definitely a recommended tour!

Guide was super friendly and in good humor. We learned and tasted the culture. Great experience. We had plenty to eat so pace yourself. Definitely a dairy heavy tasting.

Sophie was a great tour guide. My wife has some food allergies and she made sure that the food tour fit her allergies. She even brought some food on her own for my wife that was very good. Sophie also took us off of the main path for a really great tour history about the area and great food experience. It was our favorite out of the six cities we visited and had tours for.

Manos was personable and a very knowledgable guide. After a bus ride to the city, we ultimately located the start point. Our small group (6 people) tour with Manos included a breakfast pastry and Greek coffee; tasting of cheeses and olives at a local store; Souvlaki at Oasis; visit to Old Town and the Venetian zone; Little Italy at the wharf; olive oil and Balsamic tasting at a local store; all culminating with lunch. Don’t eat before the tour as Manos shares with many delights.
